Bodybuilding Journey - Slow and Steady

By Sara Walker I know it's been a while since my last post. So far, everything is moving so slowly that I didn’t really have much to report. Since my prior post, I have had a few more in-person sessions with my awesome coach, Justine Albert, IFBB, my diet has changed twice (more on that below), I am getting stronger, and to my delight, my body continues to change for the better, looking more muscular while my weight is fairly stable. The Bodybuilding Journey: On My Own

By Sara E Walker I am now in my fourth week of official bodybuilding training with International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) Pro, Justine Albert. It was the combination of walking into a weight room for the first time and being consumed with a desire to be there and then seeing competition bodybuilding (mens) for the first time and needing to know everything about it. I believe internal inspirational drive is essential to achieving goals,

    Pursuit of Bodybuilding

By Sara E Walker I first recall being inside a gym with my parents when I was 9 years old. I had this overwhelming sensation that I wanted to be there and even asked if I could also work out with them. My next introduction to a gym was by my high school P.E. teacher and golf coach when I was 14 years old. He didn’t know what to do with us one day for P.E., so he took us to the high school football weight room. I was addicted. I didn’t realize it then, but working out, buildin
